What do godly mothers do?

What do godly mothers do?
by Jessica Murray

They comfort you…
They love you even when you’ve treated them real bad as if you hated them the whole day (when you’re hurting inside) because they know it’s just a passing feeling and that you actually do love them but it’s just really hard to show it…
They love you unconditionally…
They teach you how to love others…
They show you how to love when you feel like there’s nothing left in your soul to give and your heart is dying…
They teach you what true love is…
And tell you love’s an action …
…a humble attitude
…a form of worship
…a way of living
When you can’t seem to find any love after searching and searching in your heart and you want to find true love inside of you godly mothers say, “Look at the way you act and serve others, your attitude, the way you glorify your Creator, and the way you are living and then you will finally understand whether your soul contains true love”.
They become a beacon of trust and a base that will always welcome you home. When you’re hurting real bad they give out of themselves into you until they themselves are broken and battered in two.
They love you from your conception or birth and then for your whole entire life. They love you forever until it’s time for one of you to leave the mortal world. Then if they’re the ones left their grief is fathomless, cruel, deep and long. But they will always remember to still have faith, have hope, and have love in God. Most of all they remember that there’s still love with God.
A godly mother reflects the love that never gives up loving; she mirrors for you the love that hides you in the shadow of His wings. This is why a godly mother’s love is so beautiful because she shows you what God’s love is like.

My Mom,
I just wanted to say…
I’ll try to give out of myself into others that hurt real bad, the love that you have shown me, the love that gives until you yourself feel broken.
I’ll love you as my mother for your whole entire life. I’ll love you forever until it’s time for one of us to leave the mortal world. Then if I’m the one left my grief will be fathomless, cruel, deep and long. But I’ll always remember to still have faith, have hope, and have love in God. Most of all I’ll remember that there’s still love with God.
And forever I will try to never give up loving. And I’ll try my best to reflect God’s love to others like you have to me.                            Continued…
But Mom, most of all I just wanted to tell you as my mother, my love for you will be forever.
I pray that God will bless you. I love you.
Your Daughter

Dear Jessica, I love you, and pray we would be more like the man of Psalm 1. Love, Mom
The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked: Psalm 1
1 Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
4 The wicked are not so,
but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
6 for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.
