Check out this pretty cool point that Joshua Harris presents posted on YouTube by his wife Eugene:
1:8 (Joshua/Josué 1:8-9) "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night,... For then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage: do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD you God is with you wherever you go." (Revelation 1:8) "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

What do godly mothers do?
What do godly mothers do?
by Jessica Murray
They comfort you…
They love you even when you’ve treated them real bad as if you hated them the whole day (when you’re hurting inside) because they know it’s just a passing feeling and that you actually do love them but it’s just really hard to show it…
They love you unconditionally…
They teach you how to love others…
They show you how to love when you feel like there’s nothing left in your soul to give and your heart is dying…
They teach you what true love is…
And tell you love’s an action …
…a humble attitude
…a form of worship
…a way of living
When you can’t seem to find any love after searching and searching in your heart and you want to find true love inside of you godly mothers say, “Look at the way you act and serve others, your attitude, the way you glorify your Creator, and the way you are living and then you will finally understand whether your soul contains true love”.
They become a beacon of trust and a base that will always welcome you home. When you’re hurting real bad they give out of themselves into you until they themselves are broken and battered in two.
They love you from your conception or birth and then for your whole entire life. They love you forever until it’s time for one of you to leave the mortal world. Then if they’re the ones left their grief is fathomless, cruel, deep and long. But they will always remember to still have faith, have hope, and have love in God. Most of all they remember that there’s still love with God.
A godly mother reflects the love that never gives up loving; she mirrors for you the love that hides you in the shadow of His wings. This is why a godly mother’s love is so beautiful because she shows you what God’s love is like.
My Mom,
I just wanted to say…
I’ll try to give out of myself into others that hurt real bad, the love that you have shown me, the love that gives until you yourself feel broken.
I’ll love you as my mother for your whole entire life. I’ll love you forever until it’s time for one of us to leave the mortal world. Then if I’m the one left my grief will be fathomless, cruel, deep and long. But I’ll always remember to still have faith, have hope, and have love in God. Most of all I’ll remember that there’s still love with God.
And forever I will try to never give up loving. And I’ll try my best to reflect God’s love to others like you have to me. Continued…
But Mom, most of all I just wanted to tell you as my mother, my love for you will be forever.
I pray that God will bless you. I love you.
Your Daughter
Dear Jessica, I love you, and pray we would be more like the man of Psalm 1. Love, Mom
The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked: Psalm 1
1 Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
4 The wicked are not so,
but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
6 for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.

New: A Thinking Love (free e-book)
http://simplycharlottemason.com/books/a-thinking-love/
Mothers owe their children a thinking love.
In the very first pages of her book, Home Education, Charlotte Mason challenged mothers to give their children a “thinking love.”It’s easy to give our children an indulgent love that caters to their every whim. Or a lazy love that follows the crowd and does what is easiest. But giving them a thinking love requires some effort.
Join Sonya Shafer as she explores what “a thinking love” means and contemplates the various ways that Charlotte Mason encouraged thinking mothers to show their love to their children.
- Encouraging—The short, practical chapters will both challenge and equip you in your role as a thinking mother, dealing with topics like
- The need for boundaries in our children’s lives,
- Teaching our children the meaning of must,
- A reminder of some simple laws of health,
- A description of true education,
- A caution against playing favorites,
- Giving our children the best of Mother,
- Dealing with faults,
- Encouraging our children’s relationships with God,
- And more!
- Christian—As was common in her writings, Charlotte’s comments grew from a strong love for her Savior and respect for God’s Word.
- Inspiring—More than seventy Charlotte Mason quotes on different aspects of being a thinking mother.

Psalm 139
Song by Steve Green:
You Knit Me Together - Psalm 139:13 & 14 [Music Download]
http://www.christianbook.com/steve-green/you-knit-together-psalm-139-amp/pd/DLF126433-12
Steve Green song sung by some children:
Psalm 139
Search Me, O God, and Know My Heart
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.
139:1 O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
3 You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
5 You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
3 You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
5 You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.
7 Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
9 If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.
13 For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. [1]
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. [1]
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I would count them, they are more than the sand.
I awake, and I am still with you.
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I would count them, they are more than the sand.
I awake, and I am still with you.
19 Oh that you would slay the wicked, O God!
O men of blood, depart from me!
20 They speak against you with malicious intent;
your enemies take your name in vain! [2]
21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord?
And do I not loathe those who rise up against you?
22 I hate them with complete hatred;
I count them my enemies.
O men of blood, depart from me!
20 They speak against you with malicious intent;
your enemies take your name in vain! [2]
21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord?
And do I not loathe those who rise up against you?
22 I hate them with complete hatred;
I count them my enemies.

Things that happened today that don't usually happen...
Jarryn (3) cracked an egg to see if there was a baby chick in it! We don't live on a farm so I presume he realised the concept that chicks hatch out of eggs from the multiple children's books we have in the house (he loves looking at books or being read to). Or maybe it's because Mom's been talking to him about the Easter story?... hmm, don't know if she mentioned any easter bunny eggs though.
One of Emma's (very nearly 9) 'baby' tooth fell out today. (This wasn't her first.) We have a tooth mouse not a tooth fairy. This is because there's a story that Mom had from when she was a girl and she used the same story for us. Maybe that's where my fascination of mice comes from? Maybe not there's lot's of children's authors that write stories about mice.
I can cook! Truly, I'm not being sarcastic. But today I burned two lots of chips in the oven. Not my day today.
Joseph, one of my brothers, baked a cake for Jarryn because it's not Jarryn's birthday yet and he was really excited about this cake idea because it's Emma's birthday soon.

This is where I would like to visit for a volunteer holiday...
Although I prayerfully support OCR Overseas Community Reach which financially provides for Unakho children's home, I would also like to visit the following children's home called Tshepo Ya Bana run by Mark and Christine Harding. Besides my frequent recommendation of Unakho children's home I would highly recommend Tshepo Ya Bana as a children's home both in the quality of care and in the dedication to bringing up the children to know and understand the gospel. I would encourage you to watch the video and also look into prayerfully supporting and maybe even giving the occasional financial donation either to Tshepo Ya Bana or Unakho children's home or both.

Tshepo Ya Bana (Hope for Children)
Hammanskraal
Tshepo Ya Bana was formed in 1993. Mark and Christine Harding aim to provide a Christian family environment for abandoned, unwanted and orphaned children. Healthy babies are usually adopted by local or overseas parents, but those who are HIV+, or who cannot be adopted for other reasons, become permanent members of the family.
When we think back 10 years or so and consider our lifestyle then... did we ever imagine that God would have led us to sell up, buy 24 hectares of bushveld and put together another family?
Prayer for:
- For wisdom as we raise these children as our own.
- For God to work in the lives and hearts of these little ones.
- The work is exacting both physically, mentally and emotionally. Pray for strength.
